Spirit of Home - Aroma

Spirit of Home - Aroma, inspired by one of the vibrant traditional attire of the central province. Similar to the other 'Kala' paintings, where colour (kala in tok pisin), it is an explosion of colours that I as a creator of this work use without any planning or composition to bring this together cohesively. There are many stories, legends and myths from the area similar to many coastal tribes. This piece, formed the foundation for the 'Our Journey' artwork that features a lakatoi and many others in the works.
