Beautiful Chaos

To overcome creative blocks, I push myself by creating art that usually makes me uncomfortable. This piece blends the cultures of the volcanic islands and the cold mountains: a Baining fire dancer and a Simbu woman standing back to back, symbolizing fire meeting ice. It was a bit chaotic at first but then it turned out to be one of my south after pieces, for the first time, listing for sale. I only make pieces like this once a year, embracing their originality without edits or fixes. It's all about paint splatters and emotion, merging cultures and traditions with no boundaries.
